China Weather has 31 provincial stations and Macao SAR stations, as well as two sub websites, Typhoon and English. As an important focus of public meteorological services, the development of China Weather Network is deeply concerned and valued by leaders at all levels. On December 11, 2009, Wen Jiabao, then Premier of the State Council, inspected the work of the China Weather Network when he visited the China Meteorological Administration. In November of the same year, Zheng Guoguang, the then director of the China Meteorological Administration, said that the biggest task of the China Weather Network was to gradually integrate the idea of the China Meteorological Administration to develop public meteorological services, become the most trusted website for the people, and create a unified national brand of public meteorological services.
