Hendrik Beikirch

German artist Hendrik Beikirch just recently finished a new mural that blasts his own standards as well as Asian normalities: it is over 70 meters (230 ft.) high and therewith marks Asia’s tallest mural ever. Contrary to its modern, rising surrounding of South Korea‘s second largest city, Busan, the mural depicts an elderly fisherman – one of the very few still pursuing this dwindling profession.

Hendrik Beikirch is most notably known to portray older people, who are unmissable marked by the circumstances of life. As his large scale murals make statements, Beikirch also added some words in Korean to his Busan-mural saying “Where there is no struggle, there is no strength.”

作品将展出一段不确定的时间。
